Greed

Guitarist/singer Arto Lindsay has always been something of a conundrum: the man who pretty much defined the sound of skronk (he reportedly never tunes his guitar, preferring to use it basically as a distorted percussion instrument), he is also a smooth-voiced crooner with a taste for bossa nova. Alongside keyboardist Peter Scherer, he indulges both of those inclinations here — though the avant-garde noise acts mainly as a subtle seasoning under a thick layer of nimble electronic funk.
