Krohn + Micus cover
Released

The rarest of all Stephan Micus albums, this early 1972 test pressing from Germany finds him in the company of underground blues-rock icon Hans-Peter Krohn, whose folk stylings lend it an antiquated quality that meshes well with Micus’s yore-leaning spirit. Highlights include “Norwegisches Volkslied” (with flute and guitar), “Let Me Sing for You” (a tender lullaby that spurs some lively playing from both), and “Tamaurasset.” As excellent as it is strange, this is one worth tracking down—if you can find a copy!
